A coworker at my old job said that quote to me while I was anxiously chatting to her about my new enrollment in the French Pastry School’s L’Art du Gâteau program. It feels like a lifetime ago that I started on that journey towards cake design, and looking back on 2012, I realized I learned far more than just how to cover a cake in fondant.
From my Paris cake to my culinary adventures through Istanbul, 2012 has been quite the whirlwind. I really hope 2013 proves to be just as exciting.
