Always a baker and artist at heart, I decided to follow my passion for cake design and move to Chicago to pursue pastry school. Four months later, I graduated with honors from the L’Art du Gateau program in April 2012. Combining my artistic interest in sculpture and design, my newly learned skills from baking school, my childhood passion for all things kitchen, and the urge to always create I established Lucy Jane Cakes.
